Near Real-time Data Flow Monitor
Every hour we check the status of the NRT (-2 hrs) in-situ data we serve to our
constituent institutions and the larger oceanographic community. This
table indicates the number of stations, within the SEACOOS region, that
have data successfully flowing through our data management system and
then "downstream" from our project. This effort is the first step in a
more robust and targeted monitoring of the entire SEACOOS data stream.
Variability in the number of stations can be a response to a
variety of Sensor, Station, Institution, and Project level issues.
Extreme variation in these station counts triggers an automated email
to the SEACOOS data management community. An OGC Web Map Service
(WMS) provides the images below and a Web Feature Service (WFS) is
parsed to produced the station counts.
