Surface Current Reponse to Hurricane Jeanne
This animation displays the hourly averaged high frequency radar data for Hurricane Jeanne from The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami, a SEACOOS partner institution. Hourly averaged wind data are denoted by a black vector in the upper left corner. Gusts are denoted with a red vector. The data displayed is only from locations which have more than three contributions to the average, which helps to limit the stray vectors, but not always. The data is plotted with 2km resolution.
