The meeting began at 8:45 am Monday, October 22nd and ended at 11:45 am on Tuesday, October 23rd. Meals provided included continental breakfast, lunch and an early evening reception on Monday and continental breakfast and mid-morning break on Tuesday. There was no workshop fee, but registration is required.
SEACOOS provided travel support to non-federal participants, not to exceed $650, on a reimbursement basis. SEACOOS investigators and previous workshop participants were encouraged to attend.
Room reservations should have been made no later than August 15th. Contact the TradeWinds Island Resort directly to make your hotel room reservation. Be sure to reference the SEACOOS: South East Coastal Ocean Observing System meeting when making your reservation to get the standard room rate of $88/night (plus tax). SEACOOS is a collaborative university partnership that collects, manages, and disseminates integrated regional ocean observations and information products for the coasts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
