SEACOOS Servers to Relocate to New Datacenter

SEACOOS.org will experience a brief interruption of service from 8am to 11am on Thursday, August 23, 2006 as servers are relocated to a new hardened datacenter.

The new 5,000 square feet datacenter home for SEACOOS.org features a 120 ton chiller, one week diesel generator backup, halide fire suppression, KVM over IP, remote reboot, and 24/7 monitoring in a secure facility. A closure of the current datacenter home for SEACOOS.org for renovations necessitates the move.
